What we do

We repair the appliances your household depends on: refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, washer-dryer combos, ovens, gas ranges, cooktops, dishwashers and microwaves.

Progress Service is an authorized service center partnered with LG and Samsung. That partnership means our technicians are trained and approved by those manufacturers, we can carry out covered warranty repairs on their appliances, and the parts we fit are genuine components sourced through the manufacturer rather than aftermarket substitutes.

It also means something more practical: when LG or Samsung refers a customer to a service provider in Queens, we are the kind of company they refer them to.

Every major brand, not just two

Factory authorization covers LG and Samsung warranty work. Our day-to-day work covers far more than that — Sub-Zero and Viking built-ins, Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, GE, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Bosch, Thermador and Kenmore. If it is a major home appliance, we most likely service it.

How we work

A technician calls ahead, arrives inside the scheduled window, diagnoses the fault and gives you the price before touching anything. You decide whether to proceed. If the repair does not make economic sense against the cost of replacement, we tell you that plainly — a customer who trusts our advice comes back, and a customer sold an unnecessary repair does not.

We are licensed and insured in New York State, and we regularly provide certificates of insurance to co-op and condo managing agents across Forest Hills, Jackson Heights, Rego Park and Kew Gardens.
