Washer will not drain
A sock or coin lodged in the drain pump, a blocked drain hose, or a pump motor that has failed outright. The tub stays full and the cycle stalls.
Drum will not spin
Worn drive belt, failed motor coupler, a door lock switch the control board cannot confirm, or on older direct-drive machines a stripped rotor.
Leaking during the fill or wash cycle
Most often the door boot seal on front loaders, which tears where coins and underwire collect. Also inlet valves, tub seals and split hoses.
Machine shakes violently or walks
Worn suspension rods or shock absorbers letting the tub swing, or bad drum bearings. Left alone this destroys the outer tub.
Error code on the display
LG LE and OE codes, Samsung 4C and 5E codes and their equivalents each point at a specific component — we read the code and confirm it against the actual part.
Will not start or fill
Water inlet valves clogged with sediment, a failed lid or door lock, or a main control board that has lost its output to the valve.
